SAM WOLFRAM

Assistant Trainer

Although Sam Wolfram has just joined the Mike Edrick family, she is already a welcomed addition, bringing years of experience and knowledge cultivated from her upbringing with horses and experiences working and competing abroad.

Sam grew-up in Illinois where she spent her childhood amongst all things horse. Her mother ran a small, local riding business, and bought Sam her first pony when she was just two years old. After spending many successful years on the US circuit, Sam moved to Belgium in 2018 after graduating from high school to learn from some of the top riders in Europe and pursue her passion for horses.

For the last three years, Sam worked tirelessly in Belgium to develop and sell young horses, while competing successfully up through the 1.40 jumpers on the European circuit. Sam’s talent and philosophy as a horsewoman solidified throughout her experiences abroad. Sam’s philosophy stresses honesty and trust between trainer, horse, and rider, and any combination of the three. The well-being and care of the horse is always paramount, and being able to work with them everyday is a privilege.

Sam’s international background combined with years of knowledge and experience from Mike Edrick, bring our clients and horses a well-rounded education. We are excited to watch Sam continue her professional growth and success with our team!
