Assistant Trainer

‘Jersey Girl’:

Born in Flemington, New Jersey, Christine grew-up on her family’s farm in the country-side. Before and after school, her days were spent riding and taking care of the horses. From mucking-stalls and feeding, to grooming and riding, Christine did it all.

Armed with a well-rounded equine education and hard-working attitude, Christine began her riding-career as a working student for Black River Farm. From there she began working for several private clients (including Saly Glassman who trained with Irish Olympian Kevin Babington), eventually moving to Germany where she lived and trained for two years. Christine gained valuable experience abroad, riding everything from green young horses to Grand Prix level. Upon returning to the States, Christine honed her experience by working for US Olympian Will Simpson on the International circuit. Before joining Mike Edrick Stables in 2017, Christine assisted with surgeries at West Coast Equine and began her own sales business (which she still operates today).

Christine’s riding philosophy focuses on each horse as an individual; it is important to think like each mount, working with their particular talents and quirks to bring out the best.

Mike Edrick Stables is happy to welcome this newest member to our team!
